THE ARTISTS
PHILIPPE THIBAUDEAU
TWIST AND SHOOT & LE TENNISMAN
Philippe is a two-faced artist: sometimes actor, sometimes clown! With more than 10 years of experience, he charms his audience with an intelligent and dynamic humour.
In 2006 Philippe began working with Dr Clown as a therapeutic clown. During his years working with this organization he has visited (and still visits!) thousands of hospitalized children and elderly people in senior residences, bringing them comfort, and a dose of gentle, silly craziness.
Under the direction of Olivier Hugue-Terreault, he participated over the years in the creation of “Labelle Visit,” a therapeutic clown approach, developed specifically for our elderly. He then became a tea-cher/coach of this approach alongside Laura Lacoste to ensure the continuity and development of the program.
In parallel he received a solid training with Francine Côté and James Keylon first and then with Bataclown in France. Since then he has had the pleasure to work with many companies including: Cirque du Soleil, Nik Wallenda, GOP Variete Theatre and le Cirque Éloize.

ALEX PAVIOST
Circus artist, contortionist and professional tightrope walker, Alex is a creative and passionate artist. In order to make a living through her passion, she acquired a solid training at l’École de Cirque de Québec, where she graduated in 2016. Since then, she has had the opportunity to refine her techniques, notably through coaching with Sergei Volodin (balance/contortion coach). She has also had the chance to meet and learn from wonderful contortionists such as Oyuna Senge and Aruna Bataa, who have shared so much with her.
She will present the product of years of passion through an act that she describes as a meeting between the violin and contortion. The violist who will accompany her is none other than Sylvain Bouillère, who will also perform later on in the show.
CONTORTION
ANTOINE BOISSEREAU
Antoine discovered the artistic world through contemporary dance, which he has practiced from a very young age. At the age of 6, he dreamt of becoming a circus artist. And so, in addition to starting his training as a dancer, he also began taking theater and art classes. He then moved to Paris and began his training at the Italo Medini circus school. After completing high school at the National School of Châtellerault in France, where he developed his technique in aerial silks and straps, he joined the National Circus School of Montreal and graduated in 2020.
Here, he will present an aerial silks act that will carry us away, like an ode to hope and freedom. When released, the body and spirit will take over the space and explore. Alone, the human being must confront its own vulnerability. Then, it can surrender.
This act was crafted and imagined as a meeting between the circus and the seventh sense, under the technical eye of Éliane Domanski.

DANIELLE SAULNIER
Danielle is a multidisciplinary circus and visual artist coming from a small town near Toronto. Growing up she experimented with many creative outlets, but found an obsession with circus arts through YouTube videos at 16 years old. After 3 years of intense training alone in her living room, sometimes until 3am, she was accepted into the National Circus School in Montréal. She graduated in 2018 with a specialty in hand balancing, and has gone onto perform for various companies worldwide such as GOP Varieté Theatre, Cirque Éloize, Montréal Complètement Cirque, Haut-Vol and more. Danielle continues to find enjoyment in experimenting and improving her craft with every new opportunity.
According to her, the stage is a place to play and exchange with a bunch of people that are all watching me at the same time. She will exchange with us by presenting a handstand act on canes!

MELLIFLUOUS
Megan is an artist, interpret, aerial rope performer based in Montreal, but with some roots in California.
She’s interested in turning and curling inwards and coming from a sacred space, forming intimacy and a raw connection with the audience. She feels inspired through observation of connections, symbiosis, plants, animals, and sharing with the lovely people in my life.
She presents “Mellifluous”: Through pushing these boundaries; it is present. Through held moments of stillness in the body, tension is experienced and released eventually, creating cycles within cycles. The journey of this piece allows for the audience to connect through the cycles, the rituals of flow, the patterning, and the universal emotions experienced. The energies that develop throughout are ease, love, anxiety, fear, oppression and liberation. The journey through these different energies develops in the body. And through movement; evolution occurs.

KELLIN QUINN HENTOFF-KILLIAN
KELLINS JUGGLING TIME
Kellin uniquely combines object manipulation, acrobatic dance and quirky comedy. Kellin is a juggler, acrobat, and sometimes he’s funny. Beginning his training at a young age in St. Louis and then moving to Montreal in 2014 to further his circus studies, he has collected a wide variety of skills and talents.
With 24 years of circus experience, he is prominently renowned as one of this generation’s most intriguing. Kellin Quinn is a local, national and international award-winning juggler who graduated from Ecole Nationale de Cirque in 2018. In addition to being an alumni of Circus Harmony St. Louis Arches, Kellin was half of legendary The Awesome Brothers (with his brother Keaton Hentoff-Killian) and has performed with Quartour Stomp, Circus Flora, Flynn Creek Circus, Empire Circus and at numerous Juggling Festivals. Kellin was featured as the juggling mad scientist in Circus Flora 2013 production of “A Trip to the Moon” and as the young King Arthur in Flora’s 2012 Camelot-based “The Wizard.” In December 2021, Kellin was voted the #7 juggler in the world by his peers.

DOOP - DANIELLE SAULNIER & KELLIN QUINN HENTOFF-KILLIAN
Partners in life and on stage, Danielle and Kellin are both a couple and an artistic duo. Both experts in their own discipline, Danielle and Kellin perform together under the name DOOP to offer the most intriguing acrobatic crossover. Unique in their kind and full of energy to share, these artists are much more than a duo!
Kellin and Danielle will present a very dynamic and playful act, combining humor, hula-hoop and acrobatics.

Originally from Korea, Minnie has always been a dream chaser.
More than 8 years ago, she discovered a new passion: pole art. She immediately fell in love with it and knew that this was what she wanted to do with her life.
To pursue her dreams and follow her passion, she moved from Seoul, South Korea to Manila, Philippines to train for 2 years. After moving back, she began teaching while continuing to train at SY pole studio. In 2018, she joined the Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal. She graduated 3 years later, in 2021, specializing in Swinging Pole and minoring in Aerial Straps.
A great proof that dreams can become reality when you give yourself the means!
She presents one of her creations: “Pour le monde”. which is a message of peace dedicated to Ukraine, to the world, to her family.
ROTATING POLE
SYLVAIN BOUILLÈRE
Painter, skater, choreographer, creator of giant puppets, musician … Sylvain has always had multiple projects on the go. It is through the circus arts that this multidisciplinary artist from Montreal discovered an extraordinary playground and an incredibly warm and diverse family all around the world. He works in Montreal, Berlin and Western Canada as a freelancer in various artistic projects while also pursuing his own personal endeavours. In 2020, he joined the TISS team to share the explosion of disciplines. He is also a member of the Collectif 4237 whose mission is to bring together the performing arts community in order to animate urban space and to make culture accessible to all.
From traditional skating – both freestyle dance and pairs competitions – to barrel vaulting and acrobatic skating, and contemporary skating, Sylvain has spent a lot of his life skating. A LOT.
Here, he will present a joyful mix of all these styles, showcasing an ability to glide with an impressive ease, through hypnotic motions that have become second nature to him. It is hard to take your eyes off this captivating performance.
ROLLER SKATES
DUO WAZ'O
MARIE-CHRISTINE FOURNIER & LOUIS-DAVID SIMONEAU / DEUX PAR DEUX
Both born in Quebec, this pair came together in 2014, creating a brand new trapeze duo act.
Marie-Christine first discovered her passion for acrobatics at the age of 15 through competitive artistic gymnastics. At the age of 20, she entered the École de cirque de Québec and was recruited by Cirque du Soleil at the age of 22. She then began her career as a trapeze artist by joining the Varekai touring show for almost 5 years.
It was at the age of 14 that Louis-David jumped on a trapeze for the first time. Two years later, the young Quebecer also entered the ENC to perfect his art for four years. The fruit of their labour was soon rewarded with the Grock d’Or at the Festival International de Festival International de Cirque de Vaudreuil-Dorion (2014) even though it was the very first time that they presented their act on stage. Since then, they have been working on various contracts around the world with renowned companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Cirque Éloize, Palazzo, Le Plus Grand Cabaret Du Monde, and more.
TRAPEZE DUO
GUILLAUME BIRON - MICHEL MICHEL
Guillaume Biron is a multidisciplinary circus artist. In 2006, he was selected as a performer for the closing ceremony of the Olympic Games in Turin, Italy. He then joined the Québec company “Les 7 doigts de la Main” for a world tour in Psy and Séquence 8. Co-Artistic Director of the Throw2Catch Company, he was also a performer in Made in Kouglistan and Zkruv Lös.
Recruited by the National Circus School of Montreal in 2015 and in 2018, he was in charge of directing students during the designers’ week and coordinating the end-of-year shows.
He finds another vector of creation and interpretation in contemporary dance, especially with Stephanie Decourteille, choreographer Estelle Clareton, and within the companies “Vazari Dance Projects”, “La Grande Fente”, “Manuel Roque”.
At the same time, his taste for music led him to work as a sound designer and DJ under the name Michel Michel.
