Nous plaçons l’humain au centre, avec des standards élevés de respect,
de sécurité et d’inclusivité.

Chaque soirée vise à faire rayonner les artistes d’ici, accueillir des talents internationaux et renforcer Montréal comme capitale du cirque.

The Monastere was founded in 2016 by two professional circus artists,
Rosalie Beauchamp and Guillaume Blais are creating a distribution platform for independent artists
and to introduce contemporary circus to a wider audience.

Based at Espace Jax in downtown Montreal since 2018, The Monastere transforms this heritage church into an immersive, intimate, and welcoming performance venue.

Through its cabarets and special projects, the organization supports the creation, emergence, and promotion of circus arts.

Guided by values of humanity, inclusion, and commitment, The Monastere also develops cultural outreach initiatives and collaborates with numerous artistic, community, and institutional partners in Montreal.

To establish the Monastere as Montreal’s benchmark for contemporary circus cabaret
a venue where artistic excellence meets impeccable hospitality, and where the audience experience is just as important as the performance.
